Sardegna
It’s difficult to admit that we want to control our surroundings. That we long for something beyond mere survival, yet cannot quite articulate what it is we’re reaching for. The desire is real, but its object remains uncertain.
This project began not with answers, but with a decision to look. I travelled to Sardegna not in search of precision, but of presence. The camera didn’t clarify my intentions. It exposed their limits. Some images are overexposed, others barely hold on to form. I let them remain. What matters here is not perfection — not sharpness, not balance — but the trace of something felt. A glimpse, a failure, a moment left untouched.
I didn’t correct the film. I corrected the impulse to control it. These photographs do not offer conclusions. They surrender to what appears.
